I think it’s the other way around; Vedrana taking a page out of Orhan’s playbook. She somehow got lots of RoQ-horde to use his fishing spot so he couldn’t.
Also I don’t think Vedrana had the same connections that Orhan did (does?) or else she wouldn’t have had to make the deal with him. She would have just talked to them herself.
I agree. It could be coincidence, but I also suspect the dark presence of Darth Orhan behind this. My theory is that he deliberately engineered this, to make everybody believe Vedrana is somehow harassing the saintly and beloved fishergnome. My second pet theory is that he now has a Legion main, and that it’s the RoQ equivalent of a Deathknight.
Shhh, let me dream. Plus, castor beat someone in a duel with his janitors’ kit, and fishbro has to be doing *something* with his profit from selling fish, so maybe he’s kitting himself, or an alt, up
Theory: Orhan have transfered to the-faction-whose-name-I-do-not-remember as a Demonspawnthingy Paladin and is raising a guild to fight the One Crit Wonders, and they are funding this endeavour by fishing. This Fisherman will join One Crit Wonder and train them in the zen art of fishing to battle this growing threat 😀
I was going to make blind guesses at an attempt to provoke my Trope-Sense, but rather than risk the minimal chance of spoiling something I am looking forward to just for the hope to be able to say “called it” I’m going to instead provide this:
Sunshine and Lollipops, and Troll-Bows everywhere~
When those arrows fill the air- you’ll fish in the shaaaaade~
Somehow I have a feeling Vedrana gets blamed, although it’s practically impossible for her to be the one to set this up (previous strips have shown Vedrana to have aversion to Legion, and virtually no Legion contacts).
Other people fishing in the same area are an issue how? This happens all the time in WoW. If they’re same faction, it usually runs into impromptu casual RP, or a nice chat if they’re not RPers. Different faction gets a friendly wave and I fish anyway.
PvP server? Okay, there may be a oroblem…only if the guy is too stupid to simply move on to another spot. Or to wait for the others to move on.
Could be like ESO where multiple people fishing at the same node can exhaust it, but also increases the chance of rarer fish, but some fucker always getting the good stuff first
Nothing wrong with a little… competition.
Orhan’s goons trying to undercut vedrana, I’m calling it now.
Even though she’s finished with the tuna
It could be totally unrelated… Or it could be that presence in sensed I’m the force. One I’ve not felt since… April 8th, 2016.
Has it really been that long since Orhan? Man, time flies.

Nah, she decided not to go through with it because only Orhan would be that vindictive about it and DAMN IT SHE IS BETTER THAN HIM.

Callback to the alt-naming convention with “leg-han” (like legion, but orhan)
I’m gonna place my bet on Castor. The Orc standing in the middle seems awfully familiar at least.
And this is where he snaps.
Duelling doesn’t grant xp, right? So he won’t be unfaithful to his fishing if he straight up murders them all.
But they’re probably higher level. So he’d get curb stomped.

Was thinking more he hires a guild from the other faction to kindly ‘remove’ them.
Don’t think this is related to Vedrana at all, I think people want in on his popularity.
The downside of celebrity… fans and paparazzi everywhere.
My guess is Vedrana drove the price of low level fish up so high everyone else is trying to get in on the action.

Called it. Poor guy. Now we’ll see how well his fanbase translates into (adjective)whelming firepower.
Oh lord his fanbase. RIP legion
On the bright side, when that new fishing raid comes out, he’ll know exactly who to call upon!

Could be in RoQ the fishing nodes aren’t shared between players, and it’s a first come first serve thing.

Can someone help me with the Gravatar, not too sure how to use it
