And it makes me laugh that the average queue time for healers and tanks are <1min while the queue time for dps is usually at 1 hour. Half of each party is dps. Every man and his dog is dps in the game
I’m blessed enough to have a guild that runs me. They took me to Kara tonight.
It was pretty rough. @-@ They already have achievements and I know they wanted to sigh every time I didn’t quite make it to the wall on big statue lady with the aoe debuff.
WoD? That was always kinda iffy because it got added during HFC so tons of people already had HFC raid gear [~700 from normal mode, higher in others ofc]
There was no ‘get there early and you’ll find groups and stay on top of the ilvl curve’ for people who ran dungeons but not raids with Mythic Dungeons in WoD.
There was for Legion since they were there from the start. Ofc its all high now. I never run below +5 and always require 860+ at this point.
ahh yeahh… this is part of why I quit WoW. Was sick of the people demanding high ILV and raid achives just to run heroics. People thinking you should some how be fully geared the moment you hit level cap, and shouldn’t be running the very runs you need to get geared until you are geared.
Being a tank and being kicked because a DPS opted to pull too much and you couldn’t hold it. So it’s your fault clearly.
Don’t remind me…the days of Gearscore still haunt me. And while I tried leveling both a healer and a tank alt at different times, the sheer level of toxicity I got from people as I tried to learn turned me off on both roles

Um, read the text of that “learning group”. A group that requires all that & adds “don’t app if you suck” is NOT a learning group.
Haha I know but what I meant is people should genuinely go as a learning group instead of a fake pro group. 😀
Omg yes. I remeber running mythics where the game puts the lowest ilevel at 660 but if you were below 700 then good luck!
