So, I went back to reread Theron’s comic just to be sure and I didn’t get the vibe that he was saying Lys actually did anything. Rather, he seemed to be implying that she might have some insight into what her brother might be up to.
I hate to say this, but unless Orhan and Lys live in different parts of the country, accessing a sibling’s computer would’ve been possible.
But it’s going to be interesting to see if this was Theron’s or Dairn’s (because I’m starting to suspect him too) doing or simply another red herring.
Plus, I again have to wonder: just how much is this item worth and is it worth the drama it has caused?
It wouldn’t surprise me if after all the drama, and possibly even a /gquit or two, it turns out that Dairn actually ate the food himself or stored it in his own bank or bags and simply forgot about it. And I kind of want to punch the screen about that fact that nobody has seen fit to inform their guildleader yet and let *her* handle this before things escalate even further. Who knows, the RoQ gamemasters may even be able to determine who wiped the banklogs if Vedrana were to ask them.
Or, heck, lay a trap and monitor the logs more closely, see if it happens again and if so who was online at the time. It seems there aren’t all that many people with full access to the raid consumables the way I read it, so the list of suspects should be fairly short.
This sort of sneaking around and lack of communication and transparency is what led to Vedrana losing her guild in the first place. (mind you, she was justified in not disclosing private stuff like that, orhan is just a jerk) And hell, she might know where it went. But i’m not gonna lie, Theron is a bit (“bit”) lazy sometimes, at the cost of others, and he would have been able to purge the records, so it does look a touch dodgy for him.
My siblings would have difficulty accessing my account – especially since I live in my own house and they don’t have the key. There’s nothing to indicate Lys & Orhan live in the same house.
Yeah definitely. Just because they’re siblings doesn’t mean they automatically have the keys to each other’s houses and all of each other’s passwords or whatever. Lys has already indicates she keeps interactions with him to a minimum, and only that much to keep her parents off her back (just because you don’t live with them any more doesn’t mean they can’t still bug you on the phone; I live 3000 miles away from mine and they pester me sometimes ^_^). That’s almost an explicit indication that he doesn’t have (legitimate) access to shit.
Now whether he might’ve done some grade A a**hole stuff like swiping her keys at a family event and making a copy, and other borderline (if not outright) illegal things to mastermind a plan of vengeance against Vedrana…
I was actually also wondering that. This storyline has a detective story vibe to it after all, and Zhusen would seem to fit the ‘least suspected, but very present’ setup. The clearing of the banklogs seems a bit too calculated for an honest mistake though.
I’m not down for doubling the Orhan hate. We get it, he is total butt face. But we might see him again yeah? Familial relations and all that jazz. Why double down the hate on stupid.
Instead of…yah know, gettin’ down to business. WE’VE GOT A BOT INFESTATION AND WE’RE LIMITED ON TIME TO FIX IT. WHY WE MESS’N WITH THE BANK PROBLEM!
Is there a waterboarding toy in RoQ?
Theron definitely deserves whats coming to him.
Theron? The hover text clearly shows Garrix as the prime suspect!

Lys doesn’t strike me as the type to leave her account unsecured, though. Access to computer =/= access to characters.

It doesn’t matter who ate the food. What matters is that anyone can steal anything, and that someone did steal stuff.

This feels like something the fearless leader should be involved in. Though she is busy in hour 5 of the bridge battle.
I’m still wondering if Zhu accidentally took the food and is ashamed of admitting it now.

In his defence, no one is above a little theivery. Once your bit you need moar and moar.
