I am curious about whether Lys is an official raid leader or guild officer. If not, it really isn’t very wise for her to make comments like the one about runes, whether intended jokingly or not. And even if she is I would argue it still isn’t very good leadership if she’s repeatedly singling out dps for that sort of comment. You can get away with it as a joke towards people you’re close with, but with raiders you know less well it could breed resentment.
Given she’s part of the loot council, I suspect she is. I also suspect that DPS has had a track record of forgetting raid buff items to warrant individual attention. Lys gets on Theron’s case for multi-shotting to pad meters and thus risking or even pulling extra things because he’s been repeatedly guilty of it.
I agree she could be less heavy handed, but since Vedrana calmed down, I think Lys plays up the “bad cop” side of leadership, which is needed at times
