Have fun being nerfed into fucking oblivion so that everyone switches to the new class, then it gets nerfed to normal levels in time for the next one.

And then unlearn it again once you’ve relearned it because they will inevitably patch the crap out of it right when you get the hang of it?

Literally Shadow Priest in Legion with the whole S2M debacle.

Or Combat Rogue becoming Outlaw…I’ve only now clawed my way back to competent ability with it…when the dice are kind 🙁

Be strong, Sir slotmachine. If you chose depend on something that is totally RNG, making your dps be something that doesn’t depend on your actions, I’m afraid you deserve everything, or nothing, that they give to you!

S2M was a double edges sword, in all meaning of the word. As much as I enjoyed it, I was glad it was nerfed into oblivion.

Assume nothing remains first month after an expansion patch. This is the one thing that remains consistent.

Not knowing anything is literally the best bit about MMOs though!

*reads icy-veins for new best leveling build*
    *plays for 10 minutes*
*reads talents carefully, talents into a build that plays just like the class played last expansion*
WIN (for a slightly underpowered version of WIN)

*Sees the “requires level 60″* What’s the max level now?

Nobody can talk about being nerfed into oblivion unless you’ve mained an elemental shaman.

    Awesome in BC
    Garbage in Wrath
    Mediocre in Cata
    Respectable in Mists
Virtually unplayable at the start of Warlords, then “buffed” to mediocre
Mediocre in Legion, then buffed to respectable

I don’t know what OP is, because I’ve never been.

Is it weird that I’ve never looked at builds for any MMO I’ve played?

Yes. You are different and different is bad.
Nah, good on you for not succumbing to the meta. But sometimes it is good to get a feel for certain combos (good old destro spam to proc c-frags with surge up. Never would have thought to go c-frags without filthy guide reading)
