Its only the tanks dead, so I reckon the dps could kill it if it goes after zhusen, or he’d be able to keep at least someone alive for the duration if it goes after the dps
My guild’s first Heroic Mannoroth kill was done with me rogue tanking, and a shaman going balls to the wall on damage.
Lemme tell you, there is nothing quite so satisfying as watching a tank go down to the combo because of no heals and no swap, popping evasion and going to town. A timely cloak of Shadows to help with the “run away!” phase, and a well planned preparation to get a second evasion.
My guild was shitting bricks by the time I popped my second evasion. It was so good. I finally ate it to the next combo, I’m pretty sure, but the by then the Shaman and I had done enough and Manny went down seconds later, just after turning a hateful eye on the last survivor.
First heroic kill reminds me of a first kill back in wrath. In Trial of the Crusader. My guild was doing heroic anub’arak and on our first kill. Everyone was dead except the rogue so there was anub and 4 of his murder spiders up. Like a god he evasion tanked all of that from 5% to 0 and died a second afterwards. I can say that i went deaf for a few minutes after that from vent exploding.
Man which side will win and which side will lose? Both tanks down leaving only healers and DPS. Will the hunters give the killing blow? Stay tuned Booster fans same dragon channel.
So I’ve just binge-read this all in the last 24 hours; been enjoying the comic and the comments. Then got to this one and was like “oh, cool what’s going to happen ne-” “NNNNOOOOoooooo!!!”
This is still winnable. As a hunter I’ve hit distracting shot, popped defensive cooldowns and then feinged death to kite the boss around while everyone else kept shooting. It’s not much but every second counts.
So close and yet so far…?
Naw, that’s just the tank dead. They’ve got a second or three of the boss bouncing between dps and healers to finish it off

I’ve rogue tanked bosses before kept it on me long enough to get a brez on a tank and then I bought the farm.
He have done less dps, becuse he was dead, so he have least aggro so he will be the last man standing.
Now we will see the payoff for that battle rez Murd got… or not…
