    Guild politics, how invigorating.

Ah, guild drama. Nothing makes me want to bail faster than guild drama. Mostly, I just don’t want to get involved.

One party probably did something without thinking or did it for the evulz and I don’t want to back someone only to find out that, yes, they did in fact do it.

…..actually, I had a weird thought: What if it was a random and/or rare bug that deleted the log AND the item from the guild bank and they’re chasing their tails trying to accuse someone?

Has the split been mentioned in the comics prior to this? Seems a little like it just sprung up. Not without reason just without presence.

I think they’re just jumping to conclusions based on what recent Guild news the side characters can see

They’re seeing the sort of signs that precede a guild split: changes in key roles, exacerbated by the expansion, sudden politicking and efforts of control over materials.

I’m always suspicious of the person who brings up “guild split” when no one else has even mentioned it as a remote possibility yet.

    Story time.

Guild splits suck. I was part of a multi-game guild many years ago that played WoW, Day of Defeat: Source and Team Fortress 2 mostly. I was a member from the TF2 branch, but one day, one of the TF2 leaders decided to create his own guild and actively recruited in our forums. This was messed up and caused a huge fracture in the community. The TF2 playerbase was pretty much split in half across the guild, this move pretty much destroyed that branch. The new branch guild either fell apart of moved to a different game, because no one was playing TF2 anymore after a few months.

I moved to the DoD:S group which was still active to play with the guildmates I liked, but I never really cared for the game and eventually left the guild too since there was nothing left for me.
