You missed the mouseover bit. The old lvl is 50, and most of them are still close to it because they haven’t had that long to level up yet. Theron is lvl 60, but he’s also completely naked.
THIS guy on the other hand, is lvl 58. (He’s also Sajon, who is scary) And the difference between a lvl 58 and a lvl 50-53 would be pretty monstrous, especially with a new expansion where everything sort of balloons stat wise.
So the size increasing items stacking is more of a symbolic, but the threat is very real xD

He merely found the one survivor in his horror movie that one time.
Sajon probably has a decent number of survivors at what was the old max level. But Keran’s probably one of the few who escaped his low level ganking.
Just think of it as being easier to target in the melee
