That reminds me of my first encounter with a bear when I went from Level 1-10 Tirisfal Glades to the Level 40-something zone right next to it. I had to “die my way back”…
which makes me question why anyone would level on a PVP server (I did it twice, it was terrible. maybe because I don’t PVP progressively, and just see it as a sometimes thing.)
I myself enjoy it when not getting ganked by someone 10+ levels higher. Fighting someone on/near your level over a crafting resource, or a quest objective can be a lot of fun, adding a new challenge and experience.

My first server was pvp but only because the person who got me into the game neglected to neglected the mention what that meant…
