Yup… I’m so glad I found a nice guild to do stuff with. Since I joined them, the only pugs I encounter are LFRs and the occasional heroic dungeon if I need the valor points (and usually even there I group up with some guildies).
To be fair, when you finally grind to the second-to-max level and discover there’s a much higher ratio of people who don’t know how to play their damn class, or play with a group in general…. I mean, I expect that kind of thing at low level, but at 59/60?? What the hell have you been doing for the past 50 levels? /rant TLDR: People on the internet are stupid, that’s why you avoid playing with them.
But does this pessimism further this divide? Do PUGs continue to be so bad because at the first sign of failure they get dropped like holy plate in a group with a ret paladin? We’ve been let down by crappy PUGs before, and we don’t want to deal with them again. So we assume every PUG is a moron or a troll, not someone who may not know a thing or two and could easily get better.
You sound like a PUG sympathizer. Bads like you will never get in any of my guilds. GET CHOPPED T1 baddie, Taarax(T2) 2400 rating, get at me cash flow and start looting spiders!
