Wait a minute… since he never left… and is obviously an asshole in raiding and all… is it just to be a jackass to Orhan? Suddenly, he feels a lot more awesome than I thought he was.

That’s my theory as to why he’s a dick in raiding too, and why he’s so much better leading the PVP group, because it’s not something Whorhan’s interested in outside of bragging rights.

And DAMMIT I KNEW he was hoping she’d come back and take over… Cowboy Bebop you have RUINED ME. With awesome.

Maybe he is really an agent of Orhan, meant to get in her good graces then destroy her!

Guild drama. Always just behind the corner.

Not always. I’ve been with a couple guild that were either all friends outside the game, or that had spent enough time together to remove the drama-mongers. Where there will never be perfect agreement on everything, and nobody can avoid all conflict, it is very possible for people playing a game over the internet to treat each other with some semblance of respect and dignity. *The odd teasing without malice notwithstanding.*

I tried to think of a way to say that I used to be this idealistic as well, but it all came out too condescending. I’ll just say good for you, to have found this group of saints. I like my new guildies (MoP new), but drama rears it’s ugly head from time to time anyway. I used to have what you describe – friends outside of game thing, but it all went to hell after my bestie slept with my other friend’s boyfriend (all of us in game, raiding, on one TS). It was painfully obvious and I got stuck in the middle and well, lot of nastyness went down, killing the guild in the process.

In my current guild, I try to keep my distance, as much as one can with people you spend an awful lot of time with, and drama still finds it’s way every once in a while, be it ’cause of loots, skill, or boredom, even in a guild with the youngest player aged 24. It’s just the way people are, I suppose. I’ve made my peace with it.

Alright, I think I see why Theron is the super duper, 100% completion guy. He’s put every spare hour into it hoping she’d come back. I’m getting a “We like each other but we don’t wanna ruin our friendship” vibe here.
