Everyone knew she was gonna be a lady thought. It was called multiple times by many people! Now to see if it matters more that he’s a creepy fuck than that Vedrana was a biiiiiiiiiiiiitch first. Like I understand not wanting to socialize or accept help from someone after finding out shit about them. But it doesn’t erase what someone else who was wronged by them did to you either.

I had no idea. I think I often read the comic before too many comments so totally missed it and didn’t think to consider the possibility.

if someone is a complete jerk to me and i find out that someone i’m socializing with has been stalking them and harassing them i will 100% of the time always and completely side with the jerk every single time because being rude in a game in a game i can turn off at any moment is nothing compared to actually hurting someone in real life (which is what cyberstalking does)

You say that, but this guy was stalking and harrassing them in the game. Granted, discord/vent makes it SLIGHTLY worse, but from the information we’re given, he only has interactions with her in game, with occasional voice chat stuff. So the exact same argument could be said. She could have turned off the game and walked away from the guy, just like Veldaz. Hell, even better, she could have booted him from the guild, removed him from the vent servers, take a momentary hit to ego and explained everything to the guild then been fine. For whatever reason Vedrana is actually the most stupid person here. Sure, Orhan’s a fuck, and a huge one, legitimately a bad person, but things only escalated to where they are because Vedrana was a jerk to one person and an idiot regarding another. She wizened up now, but she could have burned Orhan so much fucking faster and avoided most of this.

I don’t think it’d have been as easy as you think for Vedrana to have taken control of the situation in the original guild. Orhan is manipulative, planted evidence to frame Vedrana, and he’s a guy which makes people give him more (undeserved) credibility.

That’s horse shit only fit for baiting argument, he’s not good at manipulation, he is a blunt tool at it. I’ve had many situations like that throughout time in Wc3, WoW, Guild wars and ff14. Shit is easier to deal with than you think even without proof and evidence against you. Worst comes to worst, you can likely get gms to prove these claims are unsubstantiated or at the very least there is no hard evidence yet.

Vedrana didn’t have many allies left in her old guild because of her attitude. As had been pointed out to her, Orhan couldn’t have gotten as much support as he did through manipulation alone unless there was already underlying discontent. She also thought he’d given up after “his” guild disbanded under his obsessive competition with her. Even though she had her suspicions with the AH imposter, she had no idea how far he’d gone with this.

Yes, it’s all been online, but even with that, the player behind Orhan is a despicable human being who’s about to get a long coming slapdown. With all of this being in game chat, there will be logs of what’s being said and he’s shown that he doesn’t think as well when he’s stressed…one good push and he is likely to let slip how far he’s gone with this which goes beyond simple ToS breaking and into cybercrime which nearly always equates to federal crime.

You miss the fact that it’s been revealed that he USED her and her guild and faction influence to exact a personal vendetta that is only even a thing because he’s a creep in the first place. Ved’s in-game griefing pales in comparison to that bullshyte.

no offense but i literally just hit her tag and looked at every comic her character is in and saw no signs of her body silhouette having a ‘bust and hips”. a good half of the panels she’s in are just her upper body and half of those are just her head, the rest he torso has a mostly square shape (due to the fun cartoony style of this comic)

The only panel i could see anyone guessing at that would be the 4th panel in “the opposition party” the first one she appeared in. and as well all know all the male models in games like warcraft have huge ass pecs and her avatar has a normal waste and armor plates on her hips.

if anything i’d praise this character as an example of how ACTUAL armor would be (other than the shoulder spikes). armor isnt form fitting it has to be noticably bulkier than whoever is wearing it to fit the chainmail and padding underneath. the only time boobplate has ever existed is in the case of rich roman officers who wanted to show off by having ornimental breastplate that looked like a naked chest

Lets also not forget that armor for females tends to be super revealing/sexy in some ways to show off said body.

Opp party was the first hint at the full body reveal yes, because YES, orcs are for the most part super exaggerated hulk-expys, and she is not that. She has a curve to her hips and chest that male orcs, like Sajon, are not depicted with.

Enemy at Some Gates further hints at it because you have two male orcs in the background of the group shot and they one, taller, and two, wider.

Clearing a Path also shows hips. Relatively speaking when you look at male models vs female ones. Veldaz is shorter, slimmer, and less “Brutish” then all three of these orcs.

        I mean..

Her armor is a Legion slant of Sarah’s dwarven plate with a scarf we saw in Passing Judgement.

The only two eyes is slightly disappointing. Point to focusing on the RL attacks over the corpse camping, though.

You know. For all the research he did, Ohran overlooked a key flaw in his plan. The fact that the person he was drafting to act as his hatchetman was actually a hatchet*wo*man. And that she might, rightly, sympathize with another female who was creeped on in game by him. I mean, if she had been a half-decent human being to begin with, it would be natural. But another female gamer would have Views on such a thing. Especially if the scumbag was like “It’s not a big deal, no one here would care.”

Honestly, the implication that her being a woman totally changes the situation is kinda meh. A guy should be equally disgusted with all the crap Orhan pulls. Though the scene is funny as heck.

Except a woman is more likely to have had her own experiences being on the receiving end of that, and will thus harbor much righteous fury. A guy might be disgusted, and I would appreciate his response and support, but he’s less likely to have a personal investment in it.
