That was me before I got my new PC. ๐Ÿ˜› If it could be low of off it was ๐Ÿ˜› Though I never had issues that bad. Still avg 25-30 fps on that old junk pile.

I get anxious whenever I replace something inside the old rustbucket. I prefer to have someone else so it, so I can blame them if everything falls apart.

That point where you lower resolution…

and wish for an option that belongs in so many MMOs right now, “See only party, raid, and guild members.”

It isn’t like the rest of them really matter much in most current crop to any given player anyway, and she could turn it back on for RP times.

I remember busting out the ‘lower than low’ guides on WoW to force everything to potato level. Effectively had it so spells like rain of frost didn’t actually rain frost, they just left a blue circle on the ground xP

Blackrock foundry on 12fps was never going to work… I even ran arcane Mage to avoid having any kind of complicated rotation :3

I hope her new computer allows her to set things to near-max so she can be wowed about how amazing the world looks. ๐Ÿ™‚

I do not miss playing on an overgrown Commodore 64. Everything on the lowest settings and still getting 3 fps in Emerald Nightmare. And the first 30 seconds of every fight I just stood in place, frozen.

That was the impetus of me building this new rig, which isn’t a Ryzen powered beast but it exceeds all of WoW’s recommended settings.
