It usually takes a day or two at most over here, if everything is available on stock. These long deliveries still happen?

Yes, up to a week or two, though some places let you pay for next day or two day delivery, unless it’s something you need asap it’s best to go normal, also the extra prices of such speedy shipping can be big x.x

most shipping is a week so. Rubbish in-country vendors take 2-3 weeks. Amazon Prime trials are the only time I get quick shipping for free [or on the cheap if I go for overnight shipping on items that allow]

Was lucky to not have that but I did need to wait an extra week for the rest of the parts to show up.

Mostly for me it’s “It’s not here yet? It was sent a week ago” Well it’s not my fault mate, there’s upwards of fifteen different sets of hands that thing’ll pass through. Got a tracking number? Yeah? That’s a fucking Toll one, they’re a courier, and one of our competitors. No, it’s nothing to do with me or Australia Post. No I will not call you when it arrives. No I will not deliver it, we don’t do street delivery. That’s because they’re on the mailrun, and subsequently pay more for the service. Even if it was an actual post parcel you’d still have the walk the whole twenty metres from your house and come and pick it up. Pick it up from the post restante, SINCE YOU DON’T PAY YOUR FUCKING BILL, and don’t get a box because of it.
Of course in reality I tell them it’s out of my hands and then thank them for coming in and insulting my profession, work ethic, livelihood, place of work and employers. And that’s based on a real person.

In a spooky kind of coincidence, I started playing WoW again after a 2 1/2 year hiatus. Old computer choked and died attempting to run it, so I ordered a new one.

It arrived the same day as this strip.

i am waiting on something i impulse bought over the weekend.
estimated delivery time is tomorrow or the day after.
any day later and it’s Saturday, meaning mail services likely aren’t running, meaning Imma go crazy waiting for it over the weekend.
    i know her agony.
