This can’t end well. It’ll be Castor, or he’ll be a duelling pro, or he’ll flood the market with underpriced Thessen Tuna, maybe tin ore as well for spite.

She could always embrce it, and go (in the theme of the other comments) full mafia boss. She could hire him, paying him for the tuna, then reselling them whilst retaining control of the market. everyone wins, and no-ones kneecaps get broken. Then all of a sudden she’s trading purps for mats with botters, and doxing her competition.

“Stop fishing otherwise you will be swimming with the said fishes.”
“You mean the fishes I fished out?”
    “Um, shut up!”

And remember, she’s , the good guys.

You don’t have to be good to be the protagonist.

Maybe it’s because I haven’t seen Vedrana in a few pages but I feel like the last two panels have had a noticeable bump in quality. Not a huge one, but I noticed something looked better. I love seeing my favorite webcomic artists improve as they go along!

Thanks! I’m changing up how I draw some of the main cast, and Vedrana has some of the more noticeable changes.

“Knock it off!”, “or else what?”, realistically what can she do besides undercutting him. not likely to get some…(group that is not vanguard who i forgot the name of), most entertaining will probably sic castor on him

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just some guy that likes fishing and throws it on the auction house on the off chance someone might find a use for it.

I’m one of those people the AH aces hate, I undercut them because I can.

Vedrana just a wannabe AH shark. This guy either doesn’t have enough supply to compete so she would just cancel/repost (if minor undercut) or buyout (if severe undercut) or – if he did have enough supply to actually compete – she would slowly lower the prices in an undercut war, get him to desired price, buy him out, reset price. Repeat until destroyed. Been there, done that.

I am clearly in a mood this morning.

I saw the trees and the simple sloop, and said to myself “That looks like freshwater. But Tuna are saltwater fish. There is something afoot here…”

Then I realized it’s an MMO. THEN I realized it’s a webcomic about MMOs.

I think I need caffeine and a chill pill this morning.

Ugh, I’ve always hated people that stranglehold stuff on the AH. I don’t have the time or patience to have any kind of control of prices, but when I toss stuff on the AH to try and make a little gold and suddenly find a flood of the same thing on the AH undercutting me from several people with suspiciously similar names to the point of pushing my auction so far down the list it’ll never be seen, it’s frustrating. The other AH antic that pisses me off is the guy who posts literal hundreds of a given mat…one at a time. When I have to sort through 20 pages to get to a number I can make use of…well, I’ll leave it at that

      Oh. My. God!
There should be a special place in hell for people who post stackable mats one at a time.
I do understand some of the mats can get expensive but seriously I’ve seen ore put up one at a time.
Though my personal pet peeve is people who post stuff so low they might as well have sold it to a vendor. Then I have to decide whether to post mine at a higher price or buy them out.

I know! I mean, sometimes I only need one or two of a mat I can’t farm myself(being an engineer means I picked mining, but as a rogue I need leather for my goggles), but the sheer numbers, all by the same person is just nuts.

The comically low prices I do buyout and flip, one of the rare things I do do with the AH unless I’ve farmed a lot of ore or gotten a valuable BoE I don’t want

I love the idiots who are so hell-bent on undercutting that they auction for below vendor.

        1. Buy all their crap
        2. Sell to vendor
        3. Profit
