Jesus Christ what is WRONG with him? He has the patience of mother Theresa mixed with Zhusen. Not powergaming the everloving shit out of an mmo? Masochism.

He sounds like the Pandaren in WOW that leveled to like 80 or 90 without ever fighting anything, he did it by mining and picking flowers if I remember correctly.

They’re still going – he hit 110 in November I believe. Still hasn’t left the starting zone or picked a faction.
Their character name is doubleagent I believe.

Yea I remember that guy. True dedication to not kill single enemy.

DoubleAgent. He has reached 110, still on the Wandering Isle, still hasn’t picked a faction, still leveling by picking flowers. He is … impressively insane. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I want a story arc where he becomes a crazed sea captain obsessed with hunting down the whale shark.

Now is the time to outsource, Vedrana. Use him as your supplier of all things aquatic.

Yes! See the value in partnering up. Heck, invite him to the guild, I’m sure he’d be happy to contribute raid mats when he gets that far. And he seems like the right amount of crazy for this bunch.

If you’re not a *little* obsessed when it comes to raiding, well, you probably aren’t.

And yet it is still not as boring as regular fishing.

I know about DoubleAgent, but he owes the whole idea of levelling on little things to South Park’s Make Love Not Warcraft — which had the kids doing something similar by killing 1xp critters. ๐Ÿ˜‰

you sure about that? DoubleAgent’s been playing awhile, i was under the impression the south park 1xp grind was an homage to people like DoubleAgent who leveled in seemingly the most inefficient way possible

Doubleagent started in 2012, and the Make Love Not Warcraft episode of South Park premiered 6 years earlier in October 2006.

… since he’s a Pandarian I guess I didn’t really have to look that up to tell ๐Ÿ™ There’s probably been others before him though that may have inspired the South Park plotline. I know there’s been pacifist leveling challenges before.
