Well, people used to buy Tin of AH at ridicolous prices to skill up Mining/Blacksmithing/Jewelcrafting/Engineering before WoD, togheter with Copper.
That’s how I earnt my first 1000g of the WoW Auction House, selling Copper at ridicolous prices.
Theron’s not wrong, but I still suspect he’s either trolling or about to teach her a lesson in what you *don’t* do with funds. I mean, folks still level profs, even in WoD, so they need tons of those low-level mats, and few have the patience to farm them.
I mean, I recently went out to farm Titansteel mats…the needed high-end metal from FOUR expacs ago. WoD changes make it tons easier to make & I ended up with some leftover…and found that bars of this stuff are still going 450g *each* on my server.
For some reason on my server, entry-level metals sold for ridiculous amounts. Bless alts with access to their main’s gold supply but without patience. 🙂

Mining for gold is just dumb. Best mine for tin and then swap it for gold.
why cant we mine gold ore and process it into coins for ourselves? seriously lol

To be fair, it’ll probably at least be better than looking for copper ore in Guild Wars 2…………never has a crafting system intimidated me so much.
Copper is giving you problems in GW2? Just buy it/salvage it.
